· The SD=SHORTDAY/S option abbreviates the current day to three letters.

 · Using the SD=SHORTDAY/S option from CLI :-

      1.>> NewDate SHORTDAY

   Typical output:-

      Tue 06-August-1996
      1.>>

 · Additionally you can replace SHORTDAY with the SD command which
   produces exactly the same result as above.
